Longan is pleased to announce Edward C. Rochette has joined the firm

Edward is a Senior Legal Consultant in Longan. He is an internationally known Negotiator and Transaction Specialist with 30 years of Acquisition experience in International Business, Land Management and Natural Resource transactions.

His primary experience involves setting up initial corporate and legal structures for new ventures, including the corporate structures, assisting in preparation for taking companies public on international stock exchanges, negotiating  joint venture agreements,  negotiating the acquisition of property and mining rights, obtaining operating licenses, setting up the structure to manage the licenses, leases and joint venture agreements, and legal due diligence.

Major geographic areas where he have conducted business includes Angola, Burundi, DRC (Congo), South Africa, Niger,  and Kenya in  Africa,  all 12 countries in Asia, all of North America (USA, Canada and Mexico), Russia, several countries in Central Asia, several countries in South America, and  several  countries in the Northern and the Balkans regions of Europe.
