The third of the tenth permanent counsellors’ conference was held in Guangzhou on April 27, 2014. The positions of Specialized and Professional Director and Deputy Director of Guangdong Lawyers Association were voted by secret ballot. Lawyer Hongwei Jia of the Shenzhen branch attended the meeting as a permanent counselor and was voted as the director of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and of the foreign affairs committee of the new lawyers association. Lawyers’ annual conference of Qinhuai District, Nanjing was held as scheduled on January 19, 2013. Longan’s Nanjing office won the title of “Outstanding Law Firm” in 2012 for its outstanding performance.
