Long An Honour l ABL China Regional Law Awards 2021:The Coastal Areas

The awarding ceremony of “ALB China regional law awards 2021: the coastal areas” was held at Conrad Hotel in Guangzhou on November 19, 2021. The organizer invited all the finalists to the grand event gathering the top legal elites to witness the announcement of the final award list.

Mr.Wei QIAN, the vice president of Long An Development Council and senior partner of Shanghai Offices, Mr.Xiangdong LAI, the vice president of Long An Development Council and founding partner of Shenzhen Offices, Ms.Wenxin CHEN from Hong Kong Offices, Mr.Lianzhi CHEN, director of the Management Committee of Shunde Offices, Mr. Qingfeng HUANG, a senior partner of Guangzhou Offices, Ms.Qiaodan CHEN and other Long An colleagues were invited to attend the ceremony.

The ceremony involved 25 awards, 15 for law firms; 3 for transactions; 4 for individual  person; And 3 for corporate legal affairs. Long An law firm was nominated for four major awards:

With its outstanding strength and achievements, Long An stood out from the fierce competition and represented the first-class level legal industry in China’s coast areas.

This is the first ALB China regional law awards: coastal areas, which aims to recognize and publicize the top law firms, corporate legal teams and individuals with outstanding strength, achievements and performance in China’s regional legal service, and is committed to encouraging more legal teams and practitioners to make outstanding contributions in this field. It focuses on 11 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China’s coastal areas, namely Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi and Hain.

The award for this year received more than 600 nominations and attracted the participation of nearly 100 law firms and corporate legal teams that have made remarkable achievements in the legal service market in coastal areas, involving the legal business fields of 25 awards.

As the representative of the main sponsor, Mr.Xiangdong LAI, the vice chairman of Long An Development Council and founding partner of Shenzhen Offices, accepted an exclusive interview with Thomson Reuters ALB before the award ceremony, and presented the award to Ms.Shaowei JIA of Ping An medical and Health Management Co., Ltd. who won the “Long An annual coastal area company women’s legal Award” on behalf of Long An law firm.

The rapidly developing economy in China’s coastal areas breeds diverse and complex legal needs, and also cultivates a broad legal market. The Yangtze River Delta and the Great Bay area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao are developing particularly rapidly.
