Mr. Xiao PENG, a Senior Partner of Long An, Won the Title of “21st Century Gold Lawyer”

 

On January 21, 2022, the Southern Finance and Law Summit Forum was held in Beijing. It is a grand cross-border forum hosted by the China Southern Academy of Finance and Economics and the China Southern Academy of Finance and Economics. At the forum, the organizers presented awards to 10 excellent law firms and 20 “gold lawyers”. Mr. Xiao PENG, the Deputy Secretary General of long An Development Fund Council, leader of compliance and government supervision department and senior partner, won the title of “gold lawyer” with his excellent achievements in the field of capital market.

At the forum, the selection results of “21st century gold law firm / lawyer” held by 21st Century Business Herald and Southern Institute of Finance and Law were officially announced. According to the organizer, the selection was determined after the active declaration of law firms / lawyers, big data verification and expert evaluation. The experts of the review committee are composed of Mr. Xiangrui BU, the former chief legal adviser of China Banking Association and director of the Academic Committee of the Southern Institute of Finance and Law, Mr. Guiming LIU, the chief editor and reviewer of Fa Xuan online of China Democratic and Legal Publishing House, Mr. Junhui LI, the director of Innovation Research Department of China Justice Big Data Research Institute, Mr. Jianxiu WEN, the vice president of Beijing Bankruptcy Law Society, and Mr. Yumin LI, the research director of the Southern Institute of Finance and Law, which ensures the authority and impartiality of the review. The organizer disclosed that the selection received applications from more than 70 law firms and more than 300 excellent lawyers. The selection committee adhered to the principle of “selecting the best from the best”, and finally selected 10 “gold law firms” (including “cutting-edge law firms”) and 20 “gold lawyers” (including “cutting-edge lawyers”).
